Analytics Assessment

We offer analytics testing using HitTrax and Rapsodo.

Today’s training analytics can feel overwhelming, so we’ve created a dedicated page to clearly explain the purpose, process, and value of our athlete assessments. Visit our Assessments page to learn how testing works and how the data is used to support player development.

Hitting
HitTrax
Our 30-minute Hitting Evaluation uses HitTrax technology to provide a complete, data-driven analysis of a hitter’s performance. During the session, HitTrax captures key offensive metrics including exit velocity, launch angle, distance, hard-hit percentage, and spray charts—giving athletes and families objective insight into swing efficiency and ball-flight quality.

This evaluation helps hitters identify strengths and areas for improvement, track measurable progress over time, and benchmark results against players within the same age division. The data can also be shared with college coaches, offering trusted, third-party metrics that support recruiting conversations and demonstrate true offensive potential.

Following the session, families receive a personalized HitTrax Hitting Report featuring detailed swing and ball-flight data, heat maps, and performance visualizations for every batted ball. Multi-angle video is also captured and provided in slow motion, allowing hitters to review mechanics, timing, and contact quality—ensuring each swing translates into purposeful, game-ready development.

HitTrax
Our 30-minute Catching Evaluation uses HitTrax technology to deliver objective, data-driven insight into a catcher’s defensive performance. During the session, HitTrax captures key metrics such as pop time, exchange time, throw velocity, and throw accuracy, providing a clear picture of how efficiently a catcher moves from glove to release and controls the running game.

This evaluation helps athletes identify strengths and areas for improvement, track measurable progress over time, and benchmark their performance against others in the same age division. The data also provides credible metrics that can be shared with college coaches, offering objective proof of defensive ability during the recruiting process.

After the session, families receive a personalized HitTrax Catching Report that includes detailed throw metrics, consistency breakdowns, and visual performance summaries. Video is captured from multiple angles and delivered in slow motion, allowing catchers to study footwork, transfer, arm path, and release mechanics—turning each rep into actionable feedback and purposeful training.
